The Cabaret of Democracy

Disclaimer: What I write is my nonsense, not yours! So, take it light and if you want read on. Do not even think of filing a case against me for what you understand. I do not want any problem with the “onsite jobs” I get from my employer. And finally, all this is a fiction of my mind (going through mid-life crisis), and names, places, animals, living, non-living, species working 15 hours in IT company just to impress managers if mentioned would be due to a mistake or purely con-incidental and do not intend to insult a soul. I believe in peace – Hail Hitler!!

Long legs….emmm…that extra cleavage and smooth skin…ahh.. what a sight…and a feeling when you see those voluptuous women with little to bare twist their hips on tunes that make you go hard down but, but very less you can do. You can’t even be close, forget the touch that runs in your mind and then suddenly, what completely revolts your conscious mind is how close this is to the current situation of our country. Power to loot, position to scam, and scandals, a list which never ends and if this wasn’t enough we have neighbours who treat us as hunting ground but what can you do? Nothing, it does go hard… on our ego, but our ego serves none, not even ourselves. And is does come down… eventually!

I have been frustrated a lot in my life, with my work, the people around me – they call this as mid-life crisis, but if all that was not enough I am even frustrated with my country and with the way it is governed or as people like to say –“ruled”. I have always felt that India should never have been a democratic country and what makes me say this is that we don’t cherish even our fundamental freedom, that’s not in our blood. Look at our history, we have always been ruled and maybe we like that – that’s our comfort zone. As far as I know, it started with the Afghans, then came the Brits and now the anti-nationals sitting in the ‘Big House’- they call peoples house! And in all this I get this strange urge to learn one of the Chinese languages, I don’t know why, but maybe we haven’t given them a chance yet to rule us. And if they do, trust me, most of our Metros Rail projects will be completed within 6 months.

So, in few days we will have someone to either govern us or rule us – choice of which I guess, on majority is already being made. But in this whole chimichanga of who is what Mr. Kejriwal stole the show and in fact went on to become a contender for the top job! Fine, there is no harm to have a dream to serve the nation, even I do have. But how does he become a leader? Or is it just me who set a high bar for someone to be a leader or my leader. All I have seen him raise issues and do dharnas. Not that I am taking anything away from him for his good work he might have done. But for the people to see him as our next PM is something totally out of my working brain. I mean, if I merely go on to criticize the policies and working ethics of my company, and then do I get to become the CEO? Whatever, I think people should be reasoning the motive of any person in politics and then make a decision – A leader or an illusion of confused junta.

But hey, wait – we still have people who support Congress, after all the mites business they have done, which makes me think – what exactly are we (Indians) made of? And the answer is very simple – selfish!! Like, I know he is a thug, but who cares, he has helped me to get my son admission in medical college. So for me he is leader and he should become next PM of India. Multiply this by ignorant number people and you will get congress supporters. Oh yeah, we also have Gandhi supporters – they will die only when the world ends. God, Mayans prediction didn’t work, is there any other calendar? Anyway I don’t want to talk anything more about Gandhi family – my blood boils below freezing point!!

What?? I didn’t say anything about Modi? He is my/our hope for the country and everyone knows that deep down somewhere inside some corner of the heart. BJP is not clean, we know that – and if I don’t say this my mental state is no better than the person who thinks Rahul Gandhi is PM material. But its top brass is not anti-national, definitely not! That’s enough for me to see my country’s future in hands of Modi. By the way, by all means do we have any other option? Some of my friends jeer me in disgust and say – “out of all the people we have only Modi for this job? He is a dictator!!” Really? And Rahul Gandhi might not even know the spelling of a “dictator”, or maybe he might need help of his sister Priyanka Vadra (who becomes Priyanka Gandhi during election time).

That gives me two options to make a choice – see our country on path of development or whine about 2002 and not let the souls sleep in peace. It’s high time we be called as nationals of a developed country and still not developing. I have been hearing that all my life – “Hum gareebi haatayenge (We will eradicate poverty)” - My Foot!!!

How Hard it is…..

How easy it was to fall in love
Only to realize it was not a rosy glove
But when it pricked, it pricked real hard
You moved on, and I got your wedding card

My dreams were shattered and buried in ground
I stopped loving, and even friends seemed enemies around
You changed my life, your love left a hole
My life stood still, and I lost my goal.

Love gave me a life, but took my soul
I became a ghost; you my master; I just did what I was told
Rush of life will help me forget you, I hope
Love is indeed a magic, gives you hope as long as a rope

If only a promise could change my life
Forgetting you was never an easy task
There is still something in me, which waits for you
If it’s not me, it’s my heart which beats for you.

In Search Of Love

Love – “The more easy it comes, the more shallow it builds!!” And while I was thinking on these lines, a friend of mine buzzed…and he said – “The more easy it comes, the more doubts you have!!”

Considering the way we are moving in life, I do get a doubt what love actually is!! I see kids having “best pals” whom they call “special one” even before they get hold of their first poem. They see twinkle stars in their special one’s eyes; pretty romantic though, but most importantly, love that comes easy, leaves pain in a tough way. Well, when in search of love, there is pain anyway..whether it comes easy or it comes hard.

Love has seen its own trend. From “one and only one forever” to “variety is a spice of life”, perspective of people keeps on changing and interestingly people move on fast. Wonder if this is due to the lesson taught by our teachers/parents(love everybody!!!) or it’s a trend of its own!! Whatever could be the reason, but when it come to guys they just like to be known as “Khulla Saand”. Girls cry!! Possibly the best way to forget past and start new. Guys have selective memory (probability to remember ex depends on how beautiful was she and how good time he had).

It’s been years I am trying to find my love, started from the last bench of the college to death driven cubicles in office and still searching for the one. And at this funny age, it’s very hard to differentiate between love, crush and lust. Since the later two are more of degraded terms, love wins the battle. It’s pious to say “I love you” than saying “I lust for you”. But for me it was always love, no matter how long it was for. Although the probability of a switch was always linked to who’s-who gives the signal. Signal?? Just a smile, we guys don’t keep high expectations as girls do!! One smile and we are flat… doston ki bhabhi ban jaati hai woh kudi.

Always wondered how could I fall in love so many times, and then the angel in me answers – “Love is eternal, and one should never stop yourself loving anyone…Err, but when it’s a time for a break-up, please do use the two degraded terms for your rescue”. Well it’s much easier to pacify your mind saying that lust came in your life disguised as love. Life is so simple when you listen to your heart and take decisions with your mind.

And then, after a shiny day, there is always a chilling night, like the entry of old villain “The Break Up” after love!! I have seen guys taking Break-up as something like “2012-EOTW”!! people get drowned in the Tsunami of sorrows, budding Devdas emerge making the likes of Mallays more rich. And interestingly after so much of turmoil in life, people still do fall in love again. Agree Break-ups are part of life, but what makes the mind to slip again when you know that Devdas role suits only Sharukh better.

Search of love is like a sperm fighting hard to reach the egg, only the special ONE wins the fight. In a lifetime we fall, we break, we make blunders for love and rightly so, because it’s the only feeling when you smile even when you are sitting on a burning stove. Love makes one to be what you are not and people in love say, it’s worth it! I say – I doubt it!

PS1: I will love only my wife.
PS2: I am yet not married.
PS3: Love is blind or is it some people have bad taste?
PS4: Arrange Marriages are made in heaven. People who go for love marriages…don’t trust God?

And she never became mine!!!

Honey, being with you was always my dream
You left…To stop you, I could only scream
And now I am facing an abyss without you
On the edge of a cliff, I am standing..still waiting for you.

I have lost the count of days..when I cried for you
My world stands still even today..what can I do?
I tried to move-on, thinking life will still be beautiful
My life was you but I moved on, yet in my heart it's still you.

Now I think about the days when you were near
The days when I hurt you, still I was your dear
The Time when I was world to you
The Moments when I cared a little for you.

I am alone today, on the same bench, watching the sun go down
Lost in your world, stuck in your heart, I can’t move-on
Sweet memories of you still hold me to stay alive
I just wanted to be yours and you to be mine and never say good-bye!

My Angel...My Life

Sitting on the couch, I close my eyes and I wonder
I wonder about my heart beat, the light and the thunder
And grown so old, I fail to remember the warmth she gave
The gushing flow of blood around me which made me so brave

My first crawl, my very first step, with the confidence not mine
I knew she would hold if I fall, so that I am all fine
Scared and petrified, a bad dream made me feel dead
My goodnights were only when her lap was my bed

The satisfaction in her eyes when I laugh and smile
The sleepless nights and the restlessness when I was out for a while
For all the troubles I got into, her arms were my safe shore
Neighbors complaints, dads anger, but she could only love and adore

Miles away today, yet I am so much into her
Standing on my own feet, a prick on finger and she would still bother
Each day pass by and I fail to tell how much I love her
She is my angel, my life, a gift from God, she is my Mother.

THOSE EYES!!!

Looking here, looking there and I am so lost
When I see your eyes I find my whole world
Music starts when you flash your smile on me
You are the only one and only for me

I knew love would never be simple
Taking my breath away was your cute dimple
Had I any way when you crossed my road
In my heart were you and a sword

That stare made me fall in love with you
Left blind with your eyes I had no clue
Hopes as high as sky, we walk along
On the road of love humming our favorite song

You are my sunshine, my reason to dream, my fame
And in your eyes I see my soul, my name
You are my angel and this my love story with you
It’s beautiful, it’s wonderful like on a flower a drop of dew

A beautiful black friday

Moments in life seems so bright
A golden sunshine you see at night
She glides in my world to light the dark
She is my love, my lady in black

Moon shines, stars glitter in the skies
I see heaven and life in her glinting eyes
Her tantrums brings joy to life
It’s her smile for which I care no plight

A beautiful today, a surprising tomorrow
When she is around there is no hint of sorrow
Together we make a great couple, people say
She completes me, in and out, night and day

My soul tells me the truth
If she is not, then my lifez a bitter fruit
Dreams we see to go all along to far
Today, tomorrow, for our love there is no bar!
